Open early at Shailesh Chambers on R V Desai Road. We keep different tea blends. People come in mostly in the morning. It’s a small space but it works for us. There is always a lot of dust from the road. We spend a lot of time weighing bags and chatting with the regulars who live around Ambawadi. Sometimes it gets crowded when several people want their specific mix at once. My brother helps with the heavy sacks when the deliveries arrive. We have been in this spot for a while now. The fan makes a weird clicking sound but we don't mind it much. You can find us right there near the main turn. It is mostly just about getting the right leaves to the right people every day. We don't do anything fancy here. Just tea and basic business stuff. Some days are slow, especially when it rains hard and the street floods a bit. We just sit and watch the traffic. It’s a simple life running a tea shop. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the jars get mixed up. If you are walking down R V Desai Road you will see the sign. It is nothing special to look at from the outside. Just a local shop doing its thing. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit in the dark for a bit until it comes back on. It gives us a chance to rest our legs and drink some of our own tea while we wait.
