Kiran V Mehta operates right in Vadodara, directly opposite the Amba Mata Temple. It’s a very well-known landmark, so people never have trouble finding where we are. The bells from the temple are something we hear all day long. It gives the place a certain feel. We’ve been here for quite some time, dealing with the daily flow of people visiting the temple and the local shops. The work we do is pretty steady. We don't have a big corporate setup with a lot of staff. It’s more of a personal operation where we handle things directly. The office or shop space is modest. We spend a lot of time talking to the regulars who have been coming to this area for years. There is a lot of history in this part of Vadodara, and we feel like a part of it. Our days are filled with paperwork and meetings, nothing too exciting, but it’s honest work. We don't believe in making things more complicated than they need to be. If someone comes in with a question, we answer it as best as we can. Being opposite Amba Mata Temple means we see a lot of life every day. We just keep our heads down, do the job, and stay part of the local community as we have always been. It is a quiet existence but we like the routine and the people who stop by to say hello.
