Kapade Nitin Rameshchandra

My name is Kapade Nitin Rameshchandra and I’m based out on Waghodia Road, specifically near Ibrahim Rehmatulla Road. It’s a busy intersection and there is always a lot of dust and noise from the trucks passing by. I’ve got a small office space here that I’ve been using for a while. It’s nothing to look at from the outside, just a plain door among many others. Inside, I keep things as simple as possible. I have a heavy metal desk and an old lamp that flickers if you don't hit it right. My work involves a lot of phone calls and writing things down in ledgers. I’m not much for computers, I still like the feel of a pen on paper. The area is constantly growing, with new shops opening up all the time, but I just stick to my corner. Sometimes the heat on Waghodia Road gets unbearable in the summer, but we manage. I usually have a small radio playing in the background to drown out the traffic noise. It’s not a glamorous job, but it pays the bills and keeps me occupied. I know most of the other shopkeepers around here, and we sometimes share a meal or a cold drink in the afternoons. It’s just a regular life in a busy part of the city. I do my bit and then head home.
