Kadiya Muzmil Khalikhusen

Muzmil here. I’ve been doing this for a while now around the Dabhoi area. If you know the Garden View building near the tower, that is where you can find me. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading out. I mostly deal with masonry and construction things because that’s what our family has always done. My father taught me the basics and I just kept going with it. It isn't a big office or anything fancy. Just a place where we keep our tools and talk to people about their house repairs. Sometimes the work is slow, and other times we are running all day. The tower is a good landmark for people who get lost trying to find us. I like being in this part of town because I grew up seeing these streets change. We don't have a big team, just a few guys who know how to work hard. We usually start early before the sun gets too hot. Dealing with bricks and cement is dusty work, but it feels good when a wall looks straight and solid. People stop by just to ask for advice on their renovations sometimes. It’s just how things go here. We don't spend much on ads. Most of the people who come to us are neighbors or friends of people we worked for last year. It stays pretty simple that way without any complicated contracts or overhead.
