K A Patel

I’ve been working out of 201 Palace Road for a long time now. The Sankalp Complex is a busy spot, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to park their scooters at once. My name is K A Patel and I’ve mostly kept this place running on my own, with some help here and there. The office isn't much to look at, just some old wooden desks and a few filing cabinets that have seen better days. You can hear the traffic from Satara Road all day long, but you get used to the honking after a few weeks. Sometimes the lift in the building stops working, so I have to walk up, which isn't great for my knees lately. Most people who come see me are locals who have known my family for years. We don't do anything fancy here. It's just a place to sit, talk through what needs doing, and get the paperwork sorted out. I usually keep the window open for a breeze, but the dust from the road gets on everything. My desk is always covered in loose papers and a few half-empty tea cups. It’s not a corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just where I work. If you find the complex, just come up to the second floor. Most days I’m here until six, unless I have to go out for some errands or a bank visit.
