If you walk down Sant Kabir Road near Gendigate, you’ll find us at Vithaldas Chambers. Jyoti Industries is on Plot 101. It’s a busy part of town, always lots of people moving around and bikes parked everywhere. We’ve been set up here for a long time. The building is older but it serves its purpose. Inside, it's mostly work benches and stacks of whatever we are making that week. We don't spend money on fancy signs or big ads. Most folks just know us by word of mouth or they see the address and stop by. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer months, so we keep the fans running full blast. Usually, I’m the one answering the phone while trying to sort through the inventory at the same time. Sometimes things get a bit messy, but we know where everything is. It’s a small team here. We talk about our families while we work and share lunch sometimes. It’s not a big corporate setup where nobody knows your name. We deal with the local shops and some bigger places too. The road outside is always noisy with horns and street vendors, but you get used to it after a week or two. We just try to get the jobs done and go home to our kids. It’s a simple life at the shop. We like being part of the Gendigate community and just doing our part.
