We are based out in Padra, specifically at number 42. Padra is a bit away from the main city center of Vadodara, so it has its own pace of life. Our place is quite easy to find once you are in the local area. It is a modest building that has been around for a while. There is nothing very modern or sleek about it, just four walls and a roof where we spend our working hours. The street outside is usually full of local activity, with people going to the market or neighbors chatting. We have a small front door that opens directly onto the lane. Inside, it’s just a basic room where we keep our tools and ledgers. We don't have fancy air conditioning, usually just a ceiling fan that hums along all day. It gets hot in the summer months but we just drink a lot of water and keep going. Most of the people around here have known us for years. We aren't trying to be anything we are not. It’s a workplace for local business. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two but we just work around it. It’s the kind of place where you know your neighbors by name and everyone says hello in the morning. We are just a small part of the Padra community doing our daily bit at number 42. It’s not glamorous, but it is where we belong and we get the work done.
