Jain Irrigation Systems Limited

This office is tucked away in Shivaji Nagar, over in the Vaghodia area. It’s part of Model Colony 1. We deal with a lot of hardware and irrigation parts, so there are always piles of catalogs and samples lying around the desks. It isn't a fancy corporate headquarters with carpets and art on the walls. It’s a place where work actually happens. Farmers and contractors come in with mud on their boots, looking for specific pipes or valves to fix their watering systems. We spend a lot of time on the phone trying to track down orders or explaining how a particular pump works. The air conditioner in the back room makes a loud humming noise that we've all just learned to ignore. Sometimes the tea boy from the corner brings over a tray, and that’s the highlight of the afternoon. We don't have a mission statement hanging on the wall. We just know that if a farmer's crop doesn't get water, they have a big problem, so we try to help them out as fast as we can. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it’s fairly quiet except for when the school bus drops the kids off nearby. We aren't here to impress anyone with big words or polished presentations. We just provide the parts that people need for their fields and gardens. It’s practical work for practical people, and it keeps us busy from morning until evening.
