Indor Motor Repowering

Our shop is located at Ranoli Kanta Terrace, right across from the Dhanlaxmi petrol pump. It’s a convenient spot because people can see us as they pull in for fuel or pass by on the main road. At Indor Motor Repowering, we spend our days covered in grease and engine oil. The main thing we do is take old, tired motors and get them back into a state where they can run again for a few more years. It’s heavy work and it can get pretty hot under the roof during the afternoon sun. We have a lot of old tools that have been with us since we started, and they still work better than some of the new stuff you see today. There’s always an engine block sitting somewhere waiting for parts or a finished one ready to be picked up by the owner. We don't have a lot of room for a fancy waiting area, so people usually just stand around and chat with us while we work on their machines. We don't use any fancy diagnostic computers; we rely mostly on what we can see and hear when the motor is running. It’s a gritty, noisy environment, but there is a lot of satisfaction in hearing a machine start up again after it’s been sitting dead for months. We just do our job and hope the engines we fix stay fixed.
