Hotel Sudarshan Palace

Our place, Hotel Sudarshan Palace, is tucked away behind the railway station in Vadodara. It’s on R.C. Dutt Road in the Alkapuri area. This part of town is usually busy with people coming off the trains. We aren't a big palace like the name might suggest to some, but it’s a solid building with decent rooms. We’ve been here for a good while. The location is the main thing people like because you can just walk from the station if you don't have too much luggage. We have different rooms, some with AC and some without. The furniture is a bit older, made of wood, and we keep things as tidy as we can. It’s just a few of us working here. We handle the check-ins and the cleaning ourselves mostly. It’s not a corporate hotel where everything is scripted. We just talk to you normally. If you need to know where to get a good tea or where the bus stop is, we can tell you. The street outside can get a bit hectic with traffic, but inside it’s okay. We don't have a big restaurant, but there are plenty of food stalls and shops right outside our door. It’s a convenient spot for someone who needs to be near the tracks. We just try to make your stay as easy as possible without charging too much for it.
