Hotel Regal

Hotel Regal is located at number 8 in Por, Vadodara. This is mostly an industrial area, so there are a lot of factories and warehouses around us. The 391243 area is usually full of heavy trucks moving goods back and forth. Because we are near the highway, the ground shakes a little when the big trailers go by. It’s a simple building with a flat roof. We don’t have any gardens or fancy things like that. Most of our guests are people working at the nearby plants or drivers taking a break. The lobby is just a small room with a few plastic chairs and a fan. We keep the ledger on a wooden desk near the door. My cousin and I take turns sleeping in the back room so someone is always there. The rooms are plain, just white walls and metal bed frames. We provide a bucket of hot water if the geyser is acting up. It’s a bit dusty because of the road, so we are always mopping the floors. The local tea stall is right next door, which is convenient. We don't have a big staff, just us and a man who helps with the cleaning. It’s a straightforward place for people who just need a bed for the night. We don't try to be anything we aren't.
