Hi-Gene Hybrid Seeds (P) Ltd. is situated at B 6 Vraj Vennu Duplex. We are right near the Swaminarayan Gurukul on the Dabhoi Waghodia Ring Road in Vadodara. It’s a good location because the ring road makes it easy to get around Gujarat without getting stuck in the city center traffic all the time. We aren't in a big office building. We operate out of a duplex, which makes it feel a bit more like a home than a workplace. There is a small garden area outside where we sometimes sit. We’ve been here for some years now. Being near the Gurukul is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. The area is growing with more houses and shops popping up lately. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and desks and some boxes. We deal with seeds, so there’s always a bit of that earthy smell around the office. We don't have a big corporate staff or people in suits. It’s just a few of us making sure everything is sorted out and sent to the right places on time. India is a big place for agriculture, and being in Vadodara feels right for what we do. The weather gets quite hot in the summer, so we keep the fans going all day long to stay comfortable. We don't have a fancy website or a huge marketing budget. We just talk to the people who need us and get the job done. It's a quiet, steady life here.
