Hands Me

Hands Me is our little shop at 78 Vadsar Anand Shopping Center. Being in a shopping center is a lot different than being in a factory or a big office. We have neighbors selling clothes and mobile phones on both sides of our unit. It gets pretty lively in the evenings when families come out to walk around and do their shopping. Our shop isn't huge, so we have to be careful about where we put everything so people don't trip. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when we get a lot of people in at once during the festive seasons. We spend a lot of time just tidying up the shelves and talking to whoever walks through the door. Some people are just looking to kill time, and some know exactly what they want to buy. The lighting is a bit bright, and we have a small radio that plays music in the background to keep things from being too quiet when no one is in. We don't have a big corporate team; it's just us here every day from morning until we lock up the gate at night. The tile floor needs a lot of mopping because of the dust that blows in from the street and the parking lot. It’s a nice enough place to spend the day, even if it gets a bit hectic on the weekends when everyone is out. We just try to be helpful and keep the place running smoothly. It’s a local business and we like being part of the center.
