Golden Larilappa Hotel

The Golden Larilappa Hotel is situated in Manjalpur at Laheripura 132. It’s a solid building that’s been standing for a while. We spend our days checking people in and out, and making sure the rooms are ready for whoever comes next. It’s not a five-star luxury place with gold door handles, but we keep things functional. The lobby has some old plants and a desk that’s been there since the beginning. We hear the sounds of Manjalpur all day and night—the horns, the dogs, the people walking by. It becomes background noise after a while. Our staff is mostly local people who walk to work. We don't have a big corporate handbook. We just try to treat people okay and fix things when they break, which happens more often than we’d like. The plumbing can be a bit temperamental in the older section of the building. We spend a lot of time on our feet, and by the end of the shift, everyone is ready to head home. At number 132, things are usually pretty predictable, though you never know who might walk through the door looking for a bed. We’ve seen travelers from all over and locals just needing a place for the night. It’s just a regular hotel run by regular people who know the Laheripura area well. We don't pretend to be more than a simple place for a good night's sleep.
