Dree Shyam Udyog

Dree Shyam Udyog is tucked away at B-167 on the 3rd Cross in Peenya 1st Stage. If you know Peenya, you know it’s a massive industrial area and it can be easy to get lost if you don’t know the cross streets. Our spot is just one of many in this row. The building has some cracks in the exterior plaster and the metal gate squeaks every time we open it in the morning. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of the equipment and the radio playing in the corner. We spend a lot of time on our feet here. There isn't much of an office to speak of, just a small table where we keep the paperwork and a few plastic chairs for guests. The 3rd Cross gets very busy with trucks and delivery vans, so there’s always someone shouting or a horn honking nearby. We’ve been at this address for several years and we've gotten used to the rhythm of the place. It's not a clean environment by any means. There’s grease and dust on almost every surface, but that’s just the nature of what we do. We eat our lunch together in the small space near the back window. We don't really have a boss who sits in a separate room; we all just work together on whatever needs finishing that day.
