It’s an older part of the city, so the streets are a bit narrow and lined with trees. Our office is basically a converted space in a residential-style building. We’ve been here for a while and the neighbors all know us by now. We work with different types of food flavours and ingredients. The smell around the office can be quite strong sometimes, depending on what we are testing or sorting through that day. We have a small lab setup and a lot of bottles and jars everywhere. It’s not the most organized-looking place, but we know where everything is. Most of our day is spent mixing things or talking to manufacturers about what they need for their products. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture or high-tech gadgets. Just the basics to get the job done. Baroda is a good place for a business like ours because there are so many food companies around. We just go about our business quietly and try to keep up with the orders. It’s a simple life, and we like the local feel of being on R.V. Desai Road instead of some big industrial estate. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit messy, but it’s home for our little company. We just keep working on the next batch of flavours for our customers.
