Deepak Industries

Deepak Industries is over at No. 98 in Vasant Estate. We are right across from the old Yamuna Mill on Dabhoi Road. This part of town has always been about manufacturing and hard work. Our shop is a busy place, usually filled with the smell of metal and oil. We’ve been in Vasant Estate for a long time, and we know most of the other shop owners on the block. We don't really have a front office to speak of; you just walk in through the main doors and you're in the middle of the work. We handle various industrial jobs, mostly involving parts and fabrication. It’s the kind of work that leaves you tired at the end of the shift, but it’s satisfying to see the finished products lined up ready to go. We don't use fancy management techniques or anything like that. We just have a list of what needs to be made and we work through it day by day. Sometimes things go wrong with a machine or a shipment is late, and we just have to figure it out as we go. We aren't a corporate giant, just a local business on Dabhoi Road trying to do a decent job for the people who hire us. It’s a simple operation, run by people who actually know how to use the tools on the floor. We just try to keep things moving and stay on top of the orders.
