Our place is over at 991 3 A in the Makarpura area, right near the Gidc Estate. It’s a busy spot with lots of trucks coming off Tumkur Road. At Creative Control Valves Pvt Ltd, we deal with a lot of metal and heavy parts. The workshop floor is usually covered in some kind of shavings or oil, which is pretty standard for this kind of work. We have a few desks in the corner for the paperwork, but most of the action happens out back. It’s been a long time since we updated the furniture, but it holds up okay. The guys usually bring their lunch from home and eat together near the loading dock. We have to be careful with the measurements on the valves because even a tiny mistake causes problems later. It’s quiet in the mornings before the neighboring shops open up their shutters. We don't have a fancy reception area or anyone to answer phones with a script. If the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up. Some days are slower than others, but there is always something to sweep or a machine that needs oiling. We try to keep the inventory sorted, though sometimes things get shuffled around when a big delivery arrives. It’s a practical way to spend the day, and we like being part of the industrial community here.
