Colin Patidar Bottling Company

You can find the Colin Patidar Bottling Company over at Plot No 7 in the G.I.D.C. area. We are right near the railway crossing, so we hear the trains go by all day and night. It is a loud place, but you get used to the sound after a week or two. Being in the industrial estate means we are surrounded by other workshops and factories. It’s a dusty part of town with a lot of trucks moving back and forth. Our building is a standard shed, mostly filled with the bottling lines and stacks of empty crates waiting to be used. We don’t have a fancy front office or a garden out front. It is all business here. The staff mostly lives nearby, and we’ve been working together for a long time. We handle everything from the cleaning to the final packing right here on Plot 7. Sometimes the power goes out or the railway gate stays down too long, and it slows us down, but we just pick up where we left off. It’s a practical way to earn a living. We aren't worried about being the most modern plant around. As long as the machines are humming and the bottles are moving, we are doing okay. It’s just a group of us trying to do a decent job every day near the tracks.
