Chavla Nayan Mahesh

We are located in Rajmandir Apartment, which is over in Balepet, right in the Alkapuri area. It’s unit number 3 on the ground level. Living and working in an apartment building like this has its own kind of rhythm. You hear the neighbors moving around, the sound of water in the pipes, and children playing in the hallways sometimes. Chavla Nayan Mahesh has been set up here for a while. The Alkapuri area is always moving, so there is always something to see out the window if you take a second to look. The apartment itself is a bit small, but we’ve managed to fit all the essentials inside. I spend a lot of time at the main table. It’s where most of the work happens during the day. Sometimes the mail gets mixed up with the other residents, so I have to go down and check the boxes quite frequently. The light in the afternoon is actually quite bright, which is nice, but it makes the room hot if I don't pull the curtains shut. It’s a very lived-in space. There are stacks of folders everywhere and a few personal items scattered about the place. It’s not like those fancy offices you see in the center of the city. It’s a real place where things actually get done. Balepet is a good location, very central for most things we need. It’s just a regular day in a regular apartment.
