My name is Kiritsinh Jashwantsinh Chauhan and you can find me at number 11 in Savli. Savli is a place where everyone kind of knows what everyone else is doing, which has its good and bad sides. I’ve been here at this same address for a long time. It’s not a large office or a grand building, just a simple place where I can get my work done in peace. The town moves at its own speed and I move along with it. I open the doors early in the morning before it gets too hot. By noon, I usually have the curtains drawn to keep the sun out. I don't have a big team of people working for me. It’s mostly just me handling the day-to-day tasks. I like the independence of it. The street outside isn't as busy as the ones in the big cities, but we still get our fair share of tractors and bikes passing through. I spend a lot of time talking to people who walk in off the street. There is no need for appointments or fancy procedures here. If the door is open, I am available. I’ve lived in this region all my life and I don't see myself being anywhere else. It’s a quiet life, focused on doing things the right way without making a fuss about it. That’s just how we do things in Savli.
