Camlot Rubber Industries

Camlot Rubber Industries is located on Alembic Road 41321. It is an industrial part of town, so there is always a lot of dust and the sound of heavy trucks passing by. We make various rubber parts, mostly gaskets and small seals for machines. The shop floor is always a bit messy because that is just the nature of working with raw rubber and molds. Our machines have been with us for a long time. They are old and a bit cranky sometimes, but they get the job done if you know how to handle them. I usually get here early to start the heaters because they take a while to reach the right temperature. We have about eight guys working the shifts. We aren't a big factory, so everyone knows everyone else. At lunch, we sit in the small shade outside and eat our tiffins. It is hard work and your hands are almost always black by the end of the day. We do not have a fancy showroom or even a proper sign sometimes. Most of our orders come from the same few companies we have dealt with for a decade. We just focus on getting the sizes right so the parts fit where they are supposed to. Alembic Road has changed over the years with more traffic now, but we just stay in our corner and keep the presses moving. It is a simple, honest way to make a living.
