Our little spot, Cafe Friends, is located right at Fatehgunj 107. It’s a pretty simple setup with some tables and chairs that have seen better days. We get a lot of people from the nearby college and the offices around the area. Most people just want a quick tea or something to eat while they talk. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls, just a few old clocks and some notices. The kitchen is small, so it can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of orders at once. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things lively while we work. The fan in the corner makes a clicking sound, but nobody seems to mind it much. We spend a lot of time washing cups and cleaning up crumbs from the tables. It’s a regular routine that starts around eight in the morning and goes on until we close up at night. Fatehgunj is always moving, so there is always someone looking through the window or walking in. We aren't trying to be the most modern place in town, we just want to have a place where people can sit for a bit. Sometimes we run out of certain things by the afternoon, and we just have to tell people we'll have more tomorrow. It’s just how it goes here at 107. It’s been a part of Fatehgunj for a long time, and we just keep the doors open and the tea hot for whoever happens to stop by.
