Brewers The Coffee Bar

Brewers The Coffee Bar is located in Pune at G 1 in the Satsang Society on Padra Road, near Navi Peth. Being in a society area means we get a lot of local residents coming in throughout the day. We start every morning by turning on the coffee machines and letting them warm up while we set up the chairs and tables outside. The smell of coffee starts to fill the space pretty quickly. Pune weather can be really nice in the mornings, so we often leave the door open to let the breeze in while we work. We spend a lot of time cleaning the milk frothers and wiping down the counter where the sugar and spoons are kept. Navi Peth is a busy part of the city, but our corner in the Satsang Society is a little more relaxed than the main roads. We have a few regulars who come in at the same time every day to get their fix and read the paper. We have to keep track of the bean supplies and make sure we don't run out of milk or lids. The G 1 unit is easy to find once you get into the society grounds. We don't have any big corporate rules here; we just make the coffee and talk to the people who stop by. It is a simple routine of grinding, brewing, and cleaning up afterward. Most days are pretty much the same, but we like the steady rhythm of working on Padra Road.
