Bipin Makwana

Bipin Makwana is the name on the door here. We are located in Chhani, very close to the Chhani Jakat Naka. It is a spot that most drivers know because of the old toll gates nearby. The traffic can be a real headache in the evenings when everyone is trying to get home. Our place is simple. We don't have any flashy lights or big advertisements. It’s just a workspace near the road. The dust from the trucks passing by at the Jakat Naka can be a bit much, so we keep the doors shut mostly. Inside, it’s just the basic stuff we need to get through the day. I’ve lived in this part of town for years. Chhani has changed quite a bit since I was younger. More buildings now. More noise too. But it’s home for the business. People drop in because they were passing by the Jakat Naka and remembered they needed something. It’s a convenient location for that. I usually get here around nine and stay until the sun goes down. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint maybe, but it doesn't affect the work we do. It’s just a regular local business. Nothing special to look at from the outside. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done. It's a practical way to live and we are used to the rhythm of the traffic outside.
