Bhaliya Hareshkumar Chiman

I’m Hareshkumar Chiman Bhaliya and you can find me over on Waghodia Road. My place is in Gitanjali Darpan, right near the 6 Roads Naranpura junction. It’s a very busy part of the city, so there is always a lot of noise and people moving around at all hours. I’ve been in this specific location for a long time now. The building is a bit older, and the stairs can be a bit steep for some, but it has a lot of character. I like being in the middle of all the action. You see everyone passing through that 6-road intersection from my window. My workspace is filled with the things I need for my daily routine. It’s a bit cluttered, I’ll admit, but I know exactly where everything is kept. I don’t believe in having a sterile environment; it feels more real when there are papers and tools around. I mostly deal with people who walk in off the street or long-time regulars who have had my number saved for years. I grew up around here, so I know the shortcuts to avoid the traffic during the evening rush hour. It’s a practical life, working hard and making sure the people who come to me are treated fairly. I don’t have any big slogans or anything like that. Just a name on the board and a willingness to get the work done. It gets loud with the horns outside, but it keeps me awake.
