Baba Balak Ram Tea Stall & Sainath Nasta House

We run the Baba Balak Ram Tea Stall & Sainath Nasta House here in Vadodara. You can find us at the 14Th Cross, on 8Th Main in the 2Nd Block. We are right near the Tarkeshware Mandir, so a lot of people stop by after they visit the temple. We start early in the morning, boiling the milk and getting the tea ready for the first crowd. It’s a small place, mostly just a counter and a few benches for people to sit. We serve tea and some basic snacks like nasta. It gets very crowded during the morning rush when everyone is heading to work. We don't have a menu printed out or anything, people just know what we have. The stove stays on most of the day. It’s hot work, especially in the summer, but we are used to it by now. The tea is made the way we’ve always made it, with plenty of ginger when it's cold out. We know most of the regulars by name and what they usually order. Sometimes we run out of snacks early if it's a busy day. It’s just a simple tea stall, nothing more. We focus on keeping the tea hot and the snacks fresh. That’s what people expect when they come to see us near the mandir. It’s a good spot to sit and relax for a few minutes.
