We set up our printing shop right beside the Devkinandan Complex, near the Husan Char Rasta. It’s on the road that leads to the Makarpura Chandkheda Highway, so we see a lot of commuters passing by. Inside, it’s mostly the hum of the computers and the clicking of the printers. We handle a lot of graphic work, like designing simple flyers or printing out banners for local events. It’s a lot of sitting in front of screens, which can be hard on the eyes after eight hours. The floor is usually littered with paper scraps and empty ink cartridges. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. You just walk in, tell us what you need printed, and we see what we can do. Sometimes the software crashes or a printer gets jammed right when we have a big job to finish. We just curse at the machine and get it fixed. It’s a small shop, and it can get pretty warm with all the electronics running at once. I started this because I liked drawing and machines, and this seemed like a way to do both. We aren't some big marketing agency; we’re just a local print shop helping out the neighbors. It’s a steady job, even if we’re constantly fighting with technology. We’ve been at this spot for a while and the highway traffic is our daily background noise while we work.
