Atithi Hotel

Being located in Subhanpura MIDC Industrial Area 1 means our day follows the clock of the factories around us. Atithi Hotel isn't a big fancy place with carpets; it’s more about the metal tables and the heavy fans spinning overhead to keep the heat away. When the whistle blows for lunch, the whole place fills up in minutes. It gets loud with people talking over their plates. We mostly focus on getting the food out fast because these workers don't have much time before they need to get back to the floor. The kitchen is always a bit chaotic, with steam everywhere and the smell of spices sticking to our clothes. Outside, there’s always trucks moving around and the sound of machinery in the distance. It’s an industrial vibe, not very quiet, but that’s just how this part of town is. We’ve had this spot for some time now. Some of the guys who eat here have been coming since we first opened the doors. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People just know we are here. In the evenings, it gets a bit slower, and we finally have time to sit down ourselves and have a cup of tea. We spend a lot of time cleaning up the grease and making sure the stove is ready for the next morning. It's hard work, but it's what we know. There's always something to do.
