Ashok Desai

I’m Ashok Desai and you can find me at C/21 in the D-Wing on Mandpeshwar Road. My office is tucked away right behind the Ghelani Petrol Pump. It’s a bit of a busy area with all the cars and bikes coming in for fuel, but once you step into the D-Wing, things quiet down quite a bit. The room I work in isn't very large. It’s mostly just my desk, a few filing cabinets that have seen better days, and a couple of extra chairs for visitors. I’ve been at this address in Vadodara for a long time now. The walls are a bit plain and I haven't really put up many pictures, but it works for what I need. I spend most of my time dealing with the paperwork that piles up on my desk. Every morning I make the climb up to the office, open the windows to let some air in, and get to work. The sound of the petrol pump is always there in the background, but after a while, you don’t even notice it anymore. I like the fact that it’s easy to give directions to people. I just tell them to look for the Ghelani pump and then head to the D-Wing. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. I don’t have a big staff, just me and occasionally someone to help with the heavy lifting or deliveries. It’s just a regular office life where I keep things simple.
