Asha Trading Co

Asha Trading Co is based in the Bhagwat Krupa Building on Lalbaug Road. It is number 6, right where the street gets quite narrow. The building is an older one, so it has that solid, lived-in feel to it. We don't have much in the way of decoration. There are mostly just stacks of goods and some ledgers on the desk. Trading involves a lot of phone calls and checking prices, so there is always a bit of chatter in the office. It can get quite hot in the afternoons, but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving. We’ve seen many businesses come and go on Lalbaug Road, but we just stay here doing our thing. It's a busy area with lots of people walking by all the time. Sometimes the noise from the street makes it hard to hear, but we've gotten used to it over the years. We keep our paperwork in those old steel cupboards. Everything is kept simple and straightforward. We don't believe in overcomplicating the day-to-day tasks. If something needs to be moved, we move it. If a customer calls, we answer. It's a very basic way of working, but it has served us well so far. We just show up every morning and see what the day brings. No fancy strategies, just trading. It is just how we like to run things here.
