Arifmiya Yusufmiya Shaikh

My business is located at C 16 in Tandalja, right on the road that goes between Surat and Kamrej. It’s a very busy road, so there is never a quiet moment with all the traffic moving back and forth. The shop is just a small unit I’ve been using for a while. It’s not a fancy place at all. I have a simple desk and some chairs, and the walls are just plain. I spend most of my day here by myself or talking to whoever happens to stop in. Being on the Surat Kamrej Road means I see a lot of travelers and truck drivers, as well as the people who live in the Tandalja area. The air is always a bit dusty because of the road, so I spend a lot of time wiping things down. It’s a basic way to make a living, but it works for me. I don’t have a website or any big marketing stuff. People just see the sign when they are driving by and pull over if they need something. I’ve known most of the other shop owners around here for years, and we all kind of look out for each other. It’s a simple life, and I don’t really want it to be more complicated than it is. I open up early and stay until it gets dark, then I head home like everyone else on this street. It is just me here.
