Midas Intertrade Pvt. Ltd. is situated on the 6th floor of National Plaza in Alkapuri, Vadodara. Being on R. C. Dutt Road means we are in a very central part of the city. The building is one of those typical commercial plazas with a lot of different businesses. We take the lift up to the 6th floor every morning—when it’s working—and get straight to work. Our office, number 406, isn’t massive, but it has enough room for our small team and all the equipment we need for the intertrade business. We handle a lot of international coordination, so we’re often dealing with different time zones, which means some of us stay late or come in very early. The view from the window is mostly other buildings and the busy road below. We have a lot of maps and charts on the walls to help us keep track of where things are in the world. It’s a lot of logistical planning and making sure all the customs codes are correct. Sometimes it gets a bit stressful when a shipment is delayed, but we just work through it. We usually grab lunch from one of the stalls downstairs. It’s a professional enough environment, but we don't stand on ceremony much. We’re just here to do the work and make sure the trade keeps flowing without any major hiccups or unnecessary delays for our clients.
