Global Trading Co.

If you come by Alkapuri Society, you’ll find Global Trading Co. at No. 4 in the Raj Mandir Apartment. It’s a quiet building, which is nice because the work we do involves a lot of concentration. We handle all sorts of trading tasks from this small apartment-style office. It feels more like a home than a corporate headquarters, which suits us just fine. There’s a lot of Alkapuri charm around here, with the trees and the older buildings that have been around for decades. Inside, we have our desks set up in the main room and the shelves are packed with files from years of business. We spend our days tracking prices, talking to clients, and making sure the logistics side of things isn't falling apart. It’s a small operation, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to filing tax documents. We don't have a big fancy sign outside, just a small one near the entrance so people know they’re in the right place. The tea lady comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a breather and talk about things other than work. It’s a practical way to run a business without all the extra costs of a big glass office building. We know the other residents in Raj Mandir, so we try to keep the noise down. It’s just about getting the work done every single day without any distraction.
