Ajay Hotel

Ajay Hotel is located on the 6th Cross in Makarpura. We are right there on the road that runs parallel to the railway tracks. You can hear the trains passing by quite often, but you get used to it after a while. It’s a basic setup we have here. We mostly serve people who work in the nearby industrial area or those heading to the station. The building is a bit older, so the walls have some marks, and the paint isn't perfect. We have a few tables and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. It’s a busy spot in the mornings when everyone is looking for tea or a quick bite before work starts. My uncle started this place, and we just keep it going the same way. We don't have a menu with pictures or anything. We just tell you what we've cooked for the day. It’s usually the same few things that people like. The kitchen is small but we keep it moving fast. Sometimes it gets a bit smoky when the stove is going full blast. We don’t spend money on advertising or anything like that. People just know where we are. It’s a simple life running a hotel by the tracks. We open early and close when the last train crowd thins out. We don't have any staff in uniforms, just family members helping out around the place.
