Agarwal Trading Company

Agarwal Trading Company is based in the Nanjibhai Chambers on Bahucharaji Road. We are in the Karelibaug area, which is a pretty well-known part of town. We’ve been operating out of this same office for quite some years. It’s a traditional trading setup. We have shelves filled with ledgers and samples of the goods we trade. The building itself is an older one, so it has that classic feel to it. We don't have air conditioning in the main area, just some ceiling fans that hum all day. Our work involves a lot of phone calls and coordinating with suppliers. We deal in various goods, mostly bulk items that local businesses need. We don't have a glossy catalog. If someone wants to know what we have, they usually just ask for a price list or come by to see the samples. The atmosphere is relaxed but busy. We know the other tenants in Nanjibhai Chambers well, so there is always someone popping in for a chat. It’s not a high-pressure environment. We just try to keep things simple and tell people the truth about what we can deliver and when. Sometimes the traffic on Bahucharaji Road makes it hard for deliveries to arrive on time, but we do our best to manage the schedules. We aren't a huge firm, just a local trading house trying to do a good job for our customers. It’s how my father ran it and how we keep it going now. We enjoy the routine of it all.
