ABN Machines

ABN Machines is based at 904/5 in the Gidc Indl. Estate in Makarpura. If you know this part of Makarpura, you know it is all about industry and hard work. There are machines running everywhere, and we are right in the middle of it. Our workshop is a functional space where we deal with all sorts of mechanical parts. It’s usually a bit oily and there’s always a faint sound of metal clanging from somewhere nearby. We don't have a fancy lobby or a person to answer the phones with a script. Usually, whoever is closest to the desk just picks it up. We spend most of our time out on the floor getting our hands dirty. It’s the kind of place where we wear old clothes because something is always going to spill or rub off on you. We have a small area where we keep our files and drawings, but it’s mostly about the machines. The guys here have been doing this for a long time, so we don’t need to explain things much to each other. We just know what needs to be done. Lunch is usually a quick affair, often eaten standing up or sitting on a workbench. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished image. We just care about the work itself and making sure the machines we handle are in good shape. It’s a straightforward life in a busy industrial estate.
