A R Shah

You can find us over at B/75 on Ajwa Road, right in the middle of Raja Market. It is a very busy area because we are directly opposite the Kamlanagar bus stop. There are always people waiting for their bus or walking through the market to get their groceries. It stays noisy from morning until late at night. I am A R Shah and I’ve been running things from this shop for years. The space is small and can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of stuff coming in. I spend a lot of time rearranging things so I can actually move around. The best thing about being near the bus stop is that it’s very easy to give directions. I just tell people to look for the market and get off at Kamlanagar. I usually have a lot of people popping their heads in to ask for directions or just to see what is going on. It can be a bit distracting, but I don't mind the company. The market gets very crowded on the weekends. I try to get most of my heavy work done during the middle of the week when it is slightly calmer. The fan in the corner makes a clicking sound that I should probably fix, but I’ve grown used to it. It’s just another part of the daily life here on Ajwa Road.
