Ogia Farmer Agro Producer Company Limited

Our spot is in Janering village, near Daporijo. We are part of the Upper Subansiri district. The name on the sign is Ogia Farmer Agro Producer Company Limited. It’s a bit of a mouthful, but it covers what we do. Daporijo is the main town we go to for supplies and to sell things. Lepajaring is where we spend most of our time out in the fields. We aren't some big corporation with a lot of money. We are just a group of neighbors who decided to pull our resources together. Sometimes it’s hard to get everyone on the same page, but we try. The hills here are beautiful but they make for tough farming. We grow mostly local stuff that does well in this climate. The work starts early in the morning before it gets too hot. We don't have any professional writers to do this, so it’s just me typing this out. We want people to know we are here in Janering if they need produce. It's a lot of sweat and long hours. We don't have any fancy promises to make. We just plant the seeds, tend the crops, and hope the market is fair when it’s time to sell. That is about all there is to it. We are just local farmers doing what we have always done, just under a company name now. It keeps us busy and hopefully helps the village out.
