We are Lengdam Farmer Producer Company Limited, and you can find us at H No E7 in the village of Lingdam Uppe. Our spot is right around Daporijo in Upper Subansiri, Arunachal Pradesh. Things move a bit slower out here in the 791122 zip code, but we stay busy. Most of us grew up around these parts and have been farming since we were kids. This whole company thing started because we wanted to see if we could do more together than just on our own. It is mostly about the crops and making sure everybody gets a fair shake. We aren't a big office with suits or anything. Most days, we are out in the dirt or sitting around talking about the next harvest. Lepajaring has some good land, though the weather doesn’t always cooperate. If it is not the heat, it is the rain washing out the tracks. We keep our records and tools at the house in Lingdam. People stop by when they need to talk about seeds or what the market prices are looking like. It is just a group of us trying to figure things out as we go. We do not have fancy equipment, but we know the land around here pretty well. It takes a lot of work to keep things running, but that is just how it is. We are just local folks from Daporijo trying to make a living and keep the farms going for the next generation.
