Singh Traders

We are Singh Traders, located right in Bighapur Villages within the Bighapur Tehsil of Unnao District. Our shop is very close to the railway station, so you can hear the trains passing by all day and long into the night. It’s a landmark for us, really. We’ve been here for several years now, serving the local farmers and the builders in the village. We keep a variety of stock, mostly things that people around here need for their daily work or home repairs. The village life is a bit slower than the city, but we stay busy enough most weeks. The proximity to the station is great for getting our supplies in, though the unloading part is always a heavy chore that takes hours. We have a small yard and a storage room that’s usually bursting at the seams with bags and tools. It’s not the most modern setup you will find. We have an old wooden counter and some shelves that have seen better days. But it works perfectly for what we do. We don't spend any money on fancy signs or radio advertising. Word of mouth in the tehsil is how people find us. We just try to give everyone a fair price when they walk through the door. Sometimes we sit outside on plastic chairs when it’s quiet, just watching the people head toward the station. It’s a good, solid community to be in for a long time.
