Shree Sarveshwar Farmer Producer Company Limited

Shree Sarveshwar is basically just a group of us from around Ghatampur Kalan in Unnao. Amresh Dixit, who is Rajendra Dixit’s son, has his place here where we mostly get together to figure things out. It’s a quiet village area and most people around here spend their days out in the fields anyway. We started this company because it felt like a better way for the local farmers to handle their crops and maybe not get pushed around by the bigger markets so much. There isn't anything fancy about how we work. We just meet up, talk about what seeds are doing okay or how the weather is looking for the next harvest. If you come down to Unnao, you’ll see it’s all about the dirt and the hard work. We don’t have a big office with air conditioning or anything like that. It’s mostly just notebooks and people sitting together under a tree or on a porch. We try to help each other get the tools we need without spending too much money. It’s a lot of coordination, which can be a headache sometimes, but it’s better than working all alone. We handle the paperwork when it’s needed, though none of us really likes that part much. Being in a small place like Ghatampur Kalan means everyone knows everyone, so you can't really get away with being lazy or dishonest. That’s just how things are around here and we wouldn't change it much.
