St. Andrews Kindergarten School

Our little kindergarten is tucked away in the Anupam Enclave on Halady Road. It’s in Vakwady, which is a nice part of Kundapura. We mostly deal with the real small kids, the ones just starting out. The building isn't huge, but it's enough for what we do. We have some colorful rooms and a few toys scattered around for when they have their play time. Being in Koteshwara, we get a lot of local families from the Udupi district bringing their toddlers here. It gets pretty loud in the mornings when parents are dropping them off. We don't have any big corporate slogans or anything. We just try to make sure the kids don't cry too much and learn their basics properly. The staff here are mostly local ladies who know how to handle a group of energetic four-year-olds. Sometimes we have little events where the kids wear costumes, and it gets a bit chaotic, but that’s just part of the job. The road outside can get a bit busy during the day, so we keep the gate shut tight. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, and most people around Vakwady know where to find us. It’s a straightforward place. We aren't trying to be the most modern school in the world, just a safe spot for kids to spend their day while their parents are at work. We focus on the daily routine and keep things moving.
