Silas International School

We are located right here in Hunumanthanagar, just a short walk from the Tata showroom. Silas International School has been part of the Puttur area for a while now, and we are easy to find if you are coming from the Bpo side. Most mornings start with the yellow buses pulling into the driveway and kids running toward the main entrance. The building itself is pretty easy to spot from the road. We have teachers who have been with us for years, just doing their daily work and helping the kids learn their subjects. It is not a fancy place, but we keep the classrooms clean and the playground is usually full of noise and shouting during the lunch breaks. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up near the road, but that is just part of being in this part of Udupi. We spend a lot of time organizing books in the library and making sure the benches in the classrooms are in good shape. There is always someone at the front gate to say hello or help out. It feels like a small community where everyone knows each other’s names. We don’t have a lot of big speeches here, just the daily routine of bells ringing and students moving from one room to another. If you pass by, you can usually hear the younger ones practicing their rhymes. It is just a regular school trying to do things right for the families around here.
