You can find us right on NH 66 in Kundapura West. We are directly opposite the Tata showroom, so it’s hard to miss us if you are driving by. Shabari Sounds And Lights has been a part of this area for a long time. Vader Hobli is where we spend most of our time when we aren't out at a venue. We have a lot of gear—speakers, cables, lights, all sorts of things that need to be hauled around. It’s heavy work and it’s usually hot out, but we are used to it. The coastal weather in Udupi can be unpredictable, so we’ve learned how to cover our equipment fast when the clouds look grey. We aren't a big corporation with a marketing team. It’s just us guys who know how to set up a stage and make sure the microphones don't buzz. We do local festivals, small weddings, and whatever else needs some noise and light. Sometimes the equipment gets a bit dusty from the road, but we keep it running. We don’t use any scripts when we talk to people. If you need lights, you come and tell us, and we figure out what fits. We like the work because it keeps us moving and no two days are ever the same. Being near the highway means we see a lot of people passing through. We’re just a local business trying to do right by the town. That's all there is to it.
