You can find us out on Kapu Shirva Road in Kalathur. We’re near the old rice mill, which is a pretty well-known spot in this part of Udupi. Mummas Caterers And Event Managements started right in a kitchen, as you might guess from the name. We do a bit of everything, from cooking up meals to setting up the space for gatherings. Kalathur is a quiet place compared to the town center, and we like the space we have here. Our workspace is usually full of the smell of spices or the sound of pots clanking. It’s a busy environment, especially when we have a big order to get out. We aren't some high-end luxury outfit. We are local people who know how to cook and how to put a party together. We use recipes that have been around for a long time. The office part of the business is just a small desk in the corner where we keep the books and take calls. Most of our work happens on our feet. If you come by, you might see us loading up the van or checking the vegetable delivery. We don't use fancy packaging or have a shiny website. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here for years and people know we show up. It’s hard work, standing over stoves and moving tables, but it feels good at the end of the day. We’re just glad to be part of the community here in Udupi.
