Our office is located at 7-2-105A on Harishchandra Road in Udupi. Being away from the massive crowds of a city like Bangalore is something we really appreciate. At Rolling Rock Software Private Limited, the pace is a bit more manageable, though we still keep ourselves very busy. The office is a fairly modest space. We have our computers set up on plain wooden desks and there’s usually a stack of papers somewhere that needs filing. It’s an honest, no-frills environment. We spend most of our time focused on coding and testing software. Since we are a small group, we all know each other’s families and what’s going on in our lives. It’s not like those big companies where you’re just a number. We like the stuff we build, but we don't feel the need to brag about it. The weather here can get quite humid, so we usually have the windows open and the fans on full blast. Sometimes we take a break to walk down the road and get some fresh air. It’s a very local way of doing business. We don't have fancy mission statements or corporate slogans. We just show up every morning, sit down at our keyboards, and try to make things that actually work for the people who need them. It’s a quiet, productive life here in Udupi, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
