If you are looking for Skm Senoir Secondary School, we are located right opposite the Hero Showroom on Rampur Road in Haldwani. It’s a pretty easy landmark to find if you are coming from the main part of town. The school stays busy because Rampur Road always has traffic, but we are used to the hum of the engines by now. Inside, the hallways are usually filled with the sound of students moving between classes or teachers calling out names. We have been part of this Haldwani community for a long time. The building itself has seen a lot of students come and go over the years. We keep things pretty basic here. There are no high-tech gadgets at every corner, just sturdy benches and whiteboards. Our staff mostly live nearby, so they walk or take a rickshaw to work every morning. We drink a lot of tea in the staff room between periods while we grade papers. Parents often drop in after work to check on things, and we usually just chat with them right there in the hallway or the small office area. It is a local place for local families. We don’t try to be anything we are not. The goal is just to get through the syllabus and make sure the kids learn something useful before the bell rings at the end of the day. It is a noisy but good place to be.
