Cynthia Sr.Sec School

Cynthia Sr.Sec School is over in Choti Mukhani, which is a part of Haldwani. We are situated right in the Mukhani area. It’s a senior secondary school, so we deal with students all the way up to their final years of schooling. Haldwani is a gateway to the hills, and our school is right in the thick of things. We have a lot of students coming and going every day. The building has been there for quite a long time and is a familiar sight for people in Choti Mukhani. We don't go for anything too modern or stylish. Our focus is just on the classrooms and making sure the teachers have enough chalk and books. It gets busy during exam season, and the whole place feels a bit tense, but that’s normal for a senior secondary school. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that posted on the walls. We just want the kids to pass their exams and do okay for themselves. Most of our families are local to Haldwani. We've seen brothers and sisters from the same families come through our gates over the years. It is a lot of hard work for the staff, but we just keep at it because it’s what we do. Every year we fix up the classrooms and get ready for a new batch. It's a steady cycle that keeps us going.
