Ratnam English Medium High School

Down here in Haldwani, our school sits in the Jaipur Beesa area near Motinagar. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but the families around Motahaldu know exactly where we are located. The surroundings are mostly quiet, away from the main city buzz, which is nice for when the windows are open in the summer. It gets quite hot in this part of the plains, so we have fans going all day in the classrooms. The building is a straightforward structure with a small yard where the students hang out during their lunch break. You won't find anything too flashy here, just the usual desks, chairs, and a lot of notebooks piled up on the teachers' tables. Most of our staff live nearby and have been with us for a good while, so everyone knows each other’s names. We try to keep things organized, but there’s always a bit of chaos when the school bell rings at the end of the day and everyone rushes for the gate. The road outside can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We spend our days going through the English medium books and trying to keep the kids focused on their exams. It’s a regular routine of lessons, corrections, and the occasional parent meeting in the small office near the entrance. Nothing fancy, just a local school doing its job every day.
